Longyearbyen lokalstyre mottok 09.08.2024 resultat fra analyser gjort på prøvene som ble tatt av vannet i Longyearbyen 07.08.2024. Det er ikke påvist fluor i noen av prøvene. Rådene knyttet til drikkevann oppheves.

On Friday the 9th of August, Longyearbyen lokalstyre received results from the water tests done on Wednesday the 7th of August. The tests showed that the water samples did not cointain Fluorid. The recommandations are now to use the tap water as usual.
